Our mission revolves around supporting women who have been in challenging relationships. We provide a community of women in similar situations. We are growing this community and identifying services — legal, safety, financial, spiritual, and medical — that would be most useful for women in our community.

Longer term, we want to change the laws, policies and awareness around the world to understand coercive control as the basis for long-term domestic abuse, and manage it accordingly, without women bearing the burden of loss.

We founders have seen women lose their jobs, their houses, their life savings, their children, their sense of self, and their lives to coercive control. We should not have to choose between putting food on the table for a month or talking to lawyers for an hour to try to protect our children from an abusive partner. There must be better way.
